Maybe they can stay close to home…Charlotte leaders and officials gathered to shovel some dirt in the beginning of a project they are calling “The Pearl”. The Pearl will be Charlotte’s first four year med school, as well as a nursing school, retail, apartments, a hotel, and open community spaces. No timeline was announced on the $1.5 billion dollar project. |
