The week of September 19th Gastonia residents will have access to free bulk pickup at their homes. That meas items like mattresses, lawn mowers, furniture,and other items that won’t fit in city garbage bins can be left at the curb.
The city waives its fees for bulk trash collection; typically, residents pay $15 for items weighing up to 100 pounds or $25 for items weighing more than that.
