GA! Dawn, first of all let me say congratulations on your new location in Mt. Holly! You had another location, is that right?
Dawn: Extreme Talent Productions was previously located in Kings Mountain, but we have such a strong following from Charlotte and Lake Norman area that I decided to move to Mount Holly. My husband Derrick and I also own a fitness facility called The Sports Mill in Bessemer City and decided to open a second one in Mount Holly as well. So Extreme is actually located inside of the Sports Mill 24 Hour Fitness in Mt. Holly.
GA! I know you were with Evolution Modeling in Charlotte until recently, but your company-Extreme Talent Productions- has been active for a while…what is your background?
Dawn: Yes, I was the New Faces Director at Evolution Models and Talent in Charlotte for 6 years. It was my job to scout out future models, actors, singers and dancers and bring them into the agency. I was the one that made sure each new talent had the proper marketing materials, pictures, education, and general knowledge of what was expected of them. I worked very closely with agents in New York, Los Angeles and other markets to always be current on what is happening in the entertainment industry. I realized that there was a strong need in our area for someone to help the 
talent around here make sure they were getting the proper training and advice so that they are not taken advantage of in the industry. That is why I started Extreme Talent Productions several years ago.

That is why I started Extreme Talent Productions several years ago.GA! Is it true that agencies really want talent, models, etc., to have experience or training before they will use them? Isn’t being beautiful or talented enough?
Dawn: Not any more. Girls and guys really have to have experience or at least some quality training, otherwise they don’t even get looked at. There is just too much talent out there that does have experience and or training.
GA! What all does Extreme offer?
Dawn: Extreme offers development in acting, voice, dance, modeling, and performance. We also offer career consulting and management. If you or your child are interested in a career in the entertainment industry I can definitely help you make the right choices and decisions. And as I mentioned earlier Extreme is located in the Sports Mill fitness center so we also can help with all of your fitness needs. The Sports Mill offers lots of classes including a kid’s sports agility class, Zumba, Boot Camp style class, and a Women’s Strength Training class.
GA! Several of your kids, including your son Devin, have performed In New York, California, etc.
Dawn: I am very proud of the talent that Extreme is working with. Our 
students have been seen in Cloverfield, Enchanted, Your Baby Can Read video series, Music Videos, Justice for Girls catalog, Cirque Des Soleil Vegas, Child Magazine, Charlotte Magazine, Uptown Magazine, Discovery Place Ads, Carowinds, and numerous runway and stage performances. We have had students in commercials for; NASCAR, Disney, Earth Fare Grocery Stores, Fred’s Department Store, Discovery Place, WSOC, the Inspiration Network and many more!

Dawn: There are a couple of projects coming up that I am so excited about! I have been asked to do the choreography for a new music video of an up and coming Nashville Country Music star named Jack Clayton. I feel very honored to have been asked to participate in this video-and even more excited that and it will feature some of our students from Extreme! I will also be holding a casting call for models
