Three masked and hooded robbers picked the wrong jewelry store to rob. Morris Jewelers owner Michael Hennes saw the hooded robbers walk through the front door. “I just reacted. I knew what was about to happen,” said Hennes. The robbers broke two jewelry cases before they notice Hennes pointing a gun at them and telling them to leave. The trio left immediately. Hennes followed them outside hoping to get a tag number, but there was none. The thieves did $7000 of damage, but did not get any merchandise. No one was hurt. |
