There was a lot of controversy about putting apartments in downtown where the pocket park used to be. And while I am a proponent of almost any park anywhere, the 90 planned units being built by Keuster Development will bring folks downtown to support retail, restaurants, entertainment, and more. Gastonia needs this to get some more momentum downtown. Pre-leasing is expected to begin in September of this year.
