Dennis Peek, who had been working at the same Wendy’s for over two decades, was fired by new management for not being able to do his job like a “normal person”. This story went viral on social media.
Once his hometown of Stanley heard this, they decided to throw him a retirement party on November 5th.
It doesn’t stop there though, the Mount Holly Police Department is making his dream come true and swearing him in as an honorary police officer.
