| A $500,000 State grant was awarded to Gastonia towards the development of a park on Linwood Road near Crowders Mountain State Park. Think hiking and camping and fishing sites, rather than ball parks.Rope courses and zip lining may also be in the mix. The city plans to spend $1.5 million on the first phase of the park’s development. |
