The Riverbend Preserve, a mixed use development on the Lincoln Gaston County lines, may be finally moving ahead.Site plans for the project have been filed since 2019. The development calls for 450 single family homes, and 2.5 million square feet of industrial space. The project has 262 acres in Lincoln County and 404 acres on the Gaston County side.
The Shaw Tate Group is working with Childress Klein on the industrial development areas of the project. The project is located on Highway 16 and Killian Road.
