It’s gone now, but the McAdenville Zoo lives on in local folk’s memories. The Zoo was located on the left just below the community center if you are coming from I-85. Folks say it was beautiful with ponds, birds, flowers, and a monkey that wasn’t too happy to be there! Lot’s of folks remember either being chased by, or being bitten by a peacock!
