Brando Bellamy, owner of Gastonia’s Honey Hunters baseball team, was interviewed recently by the Charlotte Business Journal.
This is Bellamy’s third season as owner of the Honey Hunters. When he bought the team the ballpark wasn’t finished, and there were no new developments in the FUSE district.
The team is 21-9 so far this season, and there are several new and planned developments near the FUSE site. Those include revitalization of the old Trenton Mills building, two projects at the old Coca Cola site, and plans for the former YMCA site.
