Olde Mecklenburg Brewery founder John Marrino was in town yesterday for the groundbreaking of their new facility to be called OMB Whitewater at Mount Holly.
The new facility will be one story, about 7000 square feet and will have a light and airy feeling. A half-acre bier-garten will overlook the Catawba River where Dutchman Creek joins.
“You’ll have a beautiful view of the water. I think that setting will make it perfect,” says OMB Founder John Marrino.
The project, located at 725 Elm Street in Mount Holly, is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
