Crowders Mountain has reopened- and folks are happy! Crowders Mountain was closed for several weeks so that Park Rangers could help in Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.
The park is now open, and the parking lot was full this weekend.
“It was crowded. But everyone out there was so nice, everyone smiling and waving as we’re walking past. And on the pinnacle trail, you have to hike up and crawl up some stones to get up there. And everyone’s been super helpful helping people up and just get out there and enjoying the fall weather in Charlotte,” said hiker Caitlin Brock.
