The National Weather Service says that damage consistent with EF-1 tornadoes has been found in Gaston County as of last Wednesday.
The first was in Polkville in Cleveland County to Cherryvile in Gaston County. The second was from Gastonia to Belmont. Both had peak winds of 110 miles per hour.
Much of Gaston County suffered downed trees and power outages.
