Carowinds, a local favorite of many, opened in March of 1973. They are celebrating in part by opening a new attraction called Aeronautica Landing. The attraction replaces the Crossroads section of Carowinds.
The area will have five new air themed rides. Three of those-Gear Spin, Air Walker and Air Racer are already in place.
