Where to Eat in Gaston County
Coffee
Catawba Coffee Company, 117 N Main St, Mount Holly
The space and the Mount Holly main street vibe make this a go-to spot for coffee. Hours: 7:00 am – 8:00 pm M-Thurs, 7:00 am – 9:00 pm Friday, 8:00 am – 9:00 pm Saturday, closed Sunday. What to order: any latte variation. Customers RAVE.
Caravan Coffee & Dessert Bar, 7 S Main Street, Belmont.
Hours: 7:00 am – 9:00 pm M-F, 8:00 am – 9:00 pm Saturday, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sunday. What to order: We can’t stress this enough – a muffin, any muffin (though our fave is the pumpkin when it’s in season). They get their baked goods from next door and you need to taste the goodness.

Lunch
Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, 36 N Main Street, Belmont.

Nellie’s is famous for the Jonas Brothers connection, but the food stands on its own merit. Hours: Mon-Sat 11:00 am Until, Sunday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. What to Order: They have an entire menu for Gluten Free options, so this is a great spot to go if you have restrictions in your diet.
Estia’s Kouzina, 609 N Main Street, Belmont.
Hours: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm M-T, 11:00 – 10:00 Fri/Sat, Sunday brunch 10:00 am – 2:30 pm. What to order: You can’t go wrong with the classic Gyro (served here with pork) which comes with Greek fries.

Tony’s Ice Cream, 604 East Franklin Blvd, Gastonia.
Hours: Monday – Saturday 7:00 am – 10:00 pm
Sunday 10:00 am – 10:00 pm. What to order: Obviously, don’t miss the milkshake.
