Lenox Development to build medical office building in Gastonia
Lenox Development is building a 14,000 square foot office building on north New Hope Road, just across from the Lutheran Chapel. Construction should begin in 60-90 days.
Lenox will be remodeling the former coca-Cola Bottling plant in the Gastonia FUSE District. They also purchased the York Professional Building near Gastonia City Hall, and is behind the Imperial Lofts in Belmont.
"In Gastonia, the signs are really there," said Eric Vargosko, managing partner for Lenox. "I was working in NoDa back in the late 1990s. We did three buildings over there when I was at Crosland in the 1990s. It has the same feelings. There is a lot of development, a lot of rezoning. So, we have really focused our efforts out (in Gastonia) for the near term."
