Evidently the gambling business is going great guns at Catawaba Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain.  The casino is averaging about 2500 daily visitors, which is about 900,000 visitors per year.

Now plans have been announced for phase one of the permanent casino. The original 60,000 square foot building approved by Cleveland County has now been increased to several hundred thousand feet. Construction is expected to take approximately a year, at a cost of $273 million.

Meanwhile, the Cherokees have added a convention center and a Guy Fieri restaurant at their casino in the NC mountains.
