No secret-restaurants struggle to find help

If you have been out to eat lately, you may have had a longer than usual wait. That's because of a lack of servers or back of the house staff. Or your favorite restaurant may be closed on certain days, or limiting hours for the same reasons.

Is the lack of staff because of the current unemployment monies being paid out? Is it because of low wages in the restaurant industry overall?

Regardless, in the meantime when going out to eat, please be patient, be kind, and tip well. Most of these servers and bartenders are doing their best to make you happy. And please lighten up on the online comments about bad service until this gets sorted out.
