Character doesn't often display itself in a vacuum; it is best displayed when times are hard  or under difficult circumstances. Coronavirus is scary. As the Facebook meme says, the Greatest Generation was called to war to fight a great evil, we are being called to sit on the couch. We can do this.
Not to sound trite, but we really do wish you the very best during this difficult time.
Rooted in community spirit, a new tradition is about to bloom in Belmont. For more than a year, city of Belmont staff has been working with the team at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and other groups to plan and plant their inaugural Belmont Blooms event, a month-long celebration of culture.

Ordering out, but staying in? Local folks are using DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats, Grubhub , and locally owned Speedy Grubs Delivery Service. Hyperlinks not posted here, but you can Google them to see who offers what in your area. Haven't tried them-yet, but probably will. If you do, please do the right thing and  tip your driver graciously..

As you are probably aware, many Gaston County restaurants are now take out only, but many are increasing sanitation and other measures and staying open. If you are not going out to eat, take out is a great option, and almost all restaurants offer it. If we have to stay in, it's at least nice to change up the menu a little! Be sure to support your hometown restaurants!
