Good morning, it's David. Today is June 22nd, 2021.
I know the 4th of July is a little over 10 days away, but is it ever too early to start planning your celebration? Hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, watermelon, kids splashing and playing-it's the best!
It will be a tiny bit cooler today-thank goodness. It will be cloudy most of the time, breezy and not as warm with a couple of thunderstorms; additional rain can lead to flooding problems. The high will be 80. Tonight will be mainly cloudy and cooler, with a low of 61.

While I can’t say don’t buy into the concept of a Virtual brand like Mr. Beast, let me educate you a little on why this isn’t something to support if you want to support local small businesses.
These are brands which pay a restaurant to produce the products in their kitchen, so in effect they are leasing some of the kitchen from this brick-and-mortar store to have their product cooked. It is a virtual restaurant; their food is only available through a delivery service.
While the idea seems great because it could allow mom and pop places a way to generate income during this current economic climate, the mom-and-pop places aren’t the restaurants these virtual brands are going after. They are going to try to market to places like Chili’s, Outback, and Taco Bell because these places have so many more locations than a single family-owned restaurant in our town.
So just because you see a new location on the delivery app, don’t assume it is an actual locally owned restaurant. Here is the list so far:
*MrBeast Burger is a ghost kitchen brand started by popular Youtuber Mr Beast, who is using Chili’s kitchens in the local area to cook and sell their product. (300 locations btw)
*Pasqually's Pizza & Wings is a ghost kitchen brand owned and operated by Chuck E. Cheese
*It’s Just Wings is a ghost kitchen operated by Chili’s.
*Tender Shack is a ghost kitchen operated by Outback Steakhouse
*Hootie’s Fish and Tackle is operated by Hooter’s
*Burger Den and Melt Down are ghost kitchen brands owned and operated by Denny's
