"Delicious" is a 17 year old OTTB (Thoroughbred). According to her paperwork and research, she has raced and was then sold as a "repo" mare before landing with her previous owner. While her owner loved her very much, Delicious was not a good fit for her.
Delicious is a sweet mare who enjoys having a job. She has good ground manners and is eager to please. Under saddle she prefers a soft hand/loose rein and goes in a rubber bit. She will move out but also has solid brakes when asked. Delicious has recently been put back into regular training and is making great progress building her strength and skills. She currently has a lead change and has been over small vertical jumps.
Delicious' current adoption fee is $2,000 and can go up the more she is ridden. If you are interested in adopting Delicious please begin the process by filling out an application. More...
Trivia answer

This beautiful local car, owned by Doug Carlisle is a 1959 Triumph TR3A.

The Triumph TR3 is a British sports car produced between 1955 and 1962 by the Standard-Triumph Motor Company of Coventry, England. A traditional roadster, the TR3 is an evolution of the company's earlier TR2 model, with greater power and improved braking. Updated variants, popularly but unofficially known as the "TR3A" and "TR3B", entered production in 1957 and 1962 respectively. The TR3 was succeeded by the Michelotti-styled, mechanically similar Triumph TR4.
