Is it really mid-January? High today of 70, cloudy with showers. and a thunderstorm. Tonight- low of 62, probably a shower or two.
Queens Feast, Charlotte and surrounding area's restaurant week, begins this Friday, the 17th, and runs through the 28th.  Local restaurants participating are Estia's Kouzina, Old Stone Steakhouse, The Bottle Tree, and Webb Custom Kitchen. They all have a pre fixe menu for $35 per person.

Tri-County Animal Rescue Big Dog Pet of the Week is this Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix named Wally. Wally is 2 years old and weighs about 55-65 pounds. He has lots of energy so a fenced yard is a must! Wally loves to play and can go for hours. He is the sweetest dog that loves kisses.
