Man's Best Friend

Tri-County Animal Rescue has this 6 year old Pomeranian/Sheltie mix named Bo Bo as our Pet of the Week. This little man weighs about 25-30 pounds and will stay small. Bo Bo is a challenge because he is strong willed and wants his way…always. He will require an experienced dog owner that understands the alpha mentality. Bo Bo loves to ride, loves long walks and likes cuddle time on the couch. He gets jealous of other dogs so needs to be the ONLY pet. Bo Bo CANNOT be with children. He has a beautiful tri color coat when long. He was groomed recently so his hair is very short right now. Bo Bo is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. If you are wanting a challenge then come meet Bo Bo this Saturday.

Pomeranians can live happily in homes of all sizes. They are small enough to live in apartments or condos, but active enough to flourish in a large home. They should be walked daily to burn off energy, and this helps maintain temperament. They enjoy running, so some yard time every week will be welcome. Poms need to keep their minds active. They are smart dogs and if left to their own devices will get into mischief, so to keep them happy many owners enroll their Pomeranians in agility training to keep both mind and body in tip top shape.

If you are looking for an addition to your family, please come out and meet our pets this weekend. We have many available pets at the Gastonia PetSmart located at 3698 East Franklin Boulevard this Saturday noon to 6 PM.
