Meet 42894052 - The shelter has named this cute boy Cletus!

This is a young hound at approximately 8 months old. He is very sweet and friendly but a little on the timid side. He hasn't learned how to walk on a leash well yet and his confidence level is low. Cletus will need to have a patient owner that is willing to give him a chance to learn trust and understand what is expected of him to continue to mature into a wonderful companion. He will also continue to grow to have longer legs and be about 50 lbs.

Hounds are great dogs, but require lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Hounds need to be given the opportunity to use their sniffing talents by snuffling games and walks so they can use their nose smelling everything in their environment.

His adoption fee is $90 and covers his neuter surgery, microchip, heart worm test (currently negative), deworming, vaccines and one month of flea/tick prevention. Cletus will still need to go to your regular veterinarian to get started on heart worm prevention to keep him healthy for the rest of his life! More
