It's a brand new school year in Gaston County! Here's what you need to know!

Not quite sweater weather, but only 75 today! Hold on to that umbrella, spotty showers/thunderstorms expected. Low of 67 tonight. The weather is favorable for a high level of mosquito activity. The first day of Fall is September 23rd!

Meet little Parker - 42518135!

He is a German Shepherd mix that is about 10 weeks old and will be available for adoption on 8/24/19. He is in good health and very playful and loving. His estimated size as an adult will probably be between 50 or 60 lbs. He will be staying with a foster until his adoption date so he can stay calm and comfortable outside of the loud shelter.

His adoption fee is $90 which includes his neuter (when age appropriate), first set of puppy vaccines, flea and tick prevention, deworming and microchip. Parker will need to have follow up visits at your veterinarian for the remaining vaccines and get started on heart worm prevention to keep him healthy for the rest of his life! More here...
