10 Catawba is being turned into a brewery and grill. Chad Hutchinson will continue to own and operate The String Bean Market and Seven Oaks Cafe. The venue announced the change in a Facebook post on April 1, but the change definitely isn't a prank.

You're Invited To a Meeting about the Wilkinson Blvd bridge! There will be an informational meeting from 4-7 p.m. April 4 at McAdenville Wesleyan Church on Wesleyan Drive. Mount Holly High School graduate and security expert Warren Graham will present a program about the assassination of John F. Kennedy at 6:30 April 4th at the Brevard Station Museum in Stanley. Warren is the owner of Warren Graham Training and Consulting and the author of several books. The event is free; the museum is located at 112 South Main Street in Stanley.
