Trinity Capital Advisors is developing Delta Industrial Park in Gastonia, which is being marketed at around 876,000 square feet.
Two million square square feet in industrial project coming to Gaston County?Tonight the Gaston County commissioners will consider incentives for Trinity Capital Advisors and The Keith Corp. Their combined investment would be $106.5 million, and would both be close to Interstate 85.The commissioners will consider level four incentive grants, the value of which is not clear at this time.
The Gaston Community Foundation 13th largest in Charlotte Metro areaThe Gaston Community Foundation is the 13th largest among it's peers in the Charlotte Metro area. With assets totaling $92.75 million, the foundation has given away over $6.8 million in last fiscal year, making the 14th most active.The foundation was started in 1978 with the remainder of the assets of the closed Garrison General Hospital. Cotton Ginning Days now Heritage & Harvest DaysHeritage & Harvest Days will take place Oct. 8-10 at Dallas Park in Dallas. Free admission and free parking. There will also be a "Parade of Power" at 9 a.m. through downtown Dallas Friday the 8th, and again in Dallas Park on Saturday the 9th at 12 p.m. The parade will feature beautifuly restored antique tractors .
Hickory Grove Haunted TrailFor more than 20 years the Hickory Grove Haunted Trail has been scaring Gaston County residents - all in good fun! The Trail was started by Chad Drury and friends, and Eric Woodward joined in the second year. For years they gave money to Habitat, the fire department, and schools, but now it's a full time business.They were unable ti host the Haunted Trail last year because of COVID, but ticket sales are strong so far this season.The trail is open October 1st- 31st. More... Tickets are $20, children 6 and under are free (based on parents discretion)
Panthers are 3-0, beating the Texans 24-9The Panthers beat the Texans last Thursday in Texas. The Texans were unable to run the ball against the Panthers, although the Texans did get a solid performance from rookie QB Davis Mills in his first career start. The Panthers play the Dallas Cowboys Sunday at 1 Pm in Dallas.
The Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church in Stanly just finished up a 3 week fund raising run of their Hee Haw performances. The music was top notch, and the performances were absolutely hilarious! Great job guys and gals!

Muddy River Distillery places 4th in USA Today ListMuddy River Distillery in Belmont has placed 4th in the USA Today 10Best Readers Awards.
They currently offer versions of spiced, coconut and basil rum as well as Silver Rum and its barrel-aged Queen Charlotte’s Reserve.Recent changes in NC law have allowed the distillery to sell directly from their facility, and also will allow Sunday sales beginning October 3rd.
