Two trailers that were an issue with the city were demolished."It’s kind of heart-wrenching, but it’s a win because now we can move forward and do great things," Moses Colbert, lead pastor at the church, said. The church will continue to provide meals and showers to those in need. They have also  agreed to not to allow people to sleep on the property overnight, or to bring back a homeless encampment.

Thinking about a beach property?Lots of us love the beach, and would love a million dollar beach home...except for coming up with the million dollars.Enter fractional ownership. Ragatz Associates tracks the fractional ownership industry and recorded a record sales volume of $1.7 billion in 2007. But those numbers  dropped with the Great Recession, hitting $190 million by 2015. That number rose to $624 million in 2022.A company called Plum out of Durham specializes in Co-ownership programs. You can check them out here...*So for instance, according to the Plum website, a $500,000 property with 4 owners would require $33,750 at closing, and $1261 in monthly expenses. That would give each owner 13 weeks a year, or 91 nights a year.* For information only. We have no connection to Plum, and no business relationship. We just thought this was an interesting concept for our beach lovers.

Welcome to the NFL Bryce YoungCharlott's rookie quarterback threw a touchdown in his first game against Atlanta Sunday. He also threw two interceptions.Young took responsibility for Sunday's loss. "Knowing the coverage and making assumptions off the coverage, not double-checking or making sure I see where people are,'' he explained. "Jessie did a great job on both. For me, he's a veteran guy, plays great in space. You can't just make assumptions. It's just doing a better job of seeing and making sure I'm checking and not just going off what it should be on an X and O. "That's on me. It's something I can learn from, but it doesn't excuse the fact that it was a big reason why we're not happy after this game." "That's on me. It's something I can learn from, but it doesn't excuse the fact that it was a big reason why we're not happy after this game.''In spite of that, coaches and teammates are still plenty upbeat about Young's potential.
