Caromont building $90M Critical Care TowerConstruction has begun on a 4 story, 146,000 square foot tower at Caromont in Gastonia. The new tower will be to the right of the main tower, and built on top of the main location for operating rooms. The architects designed the building so another tower could be added at a future date when the hospital was built.

Cineworld Group, owner of Regal theaters, says it suspending operations as of Thursday. This
includes
the theater in Franklin Square. A number of big budget films have delayed release, including the Bond film, "No time to die".
“We are like a grocery shop that doesn’t have vegetables, fruit, meat,” Cineworld CEO Mooky Greidinger said in an interview, per the WSJ. “We cannot operate for a long time without a product.”
Three Belmont Businesses close after Ivanka Trump visitBliss gallery, Cherub's Cafe, and Cotton candy Factory were all closed for a deep cleaning after a visit from the presidents daughter. President Trump and First Lady Melania have both tested positive for the Cornoavirus. The businesses plan to reopen on Saturday. The Trump party also visited Webb Custom Kitchen.

Sarah Granados is a wife, a mother, and is fighting for her life. The Mount Holly resident had been through a myriad of medical nightmares, culminating in the need for a multiple organ transplant. The Miami Transplant Institute has accepted her case, but expenses associated with this type of transplant are incredibly overwhelming.
