Kore Investments buys former Hunter Douglas building in Bessemer CityKore Investments of Colorado has bought the former Hunter Douglas building in Bessemer City for $13.5 million. Hunter Douglas closed that location this summer, laying off 135 workers.Kore says they will work quickly to find a new tenant for the site. The building is near Exit 13 on I-85 South.
Gaston County home prices fall slightlyAccording to Zillow n the Charlotte Business Journal, home prices in Gaston County have dropped about 2%. Of course home prices had really zoomed during the pandemic, and they are still doing well.
Dallas and Cherryille to get affordable housingTwo multi-family projects that use tax credits for construction are, or will be, soon under construction.The complex is Dallas will be called Leonard Greene, and the one in Cherryville will be called Rutherford. Crossing. Both complexes will have 120 apartments across 5 buildings. Monthly rents will range from $890 to $1225, based on the number of people and their combined income.
