Gaston College adds $16.5 mil Fiber Innovation & Textile AcademyA groundbreaking ceremony was held last week by college leaders for the new Fiber Innovation Center. The 39,000 foot facility will include an extrusion center for advanced fibers and incubation space for entrepreneurs to assist the textile industry."Unfortunately, there is nowhere in the U.S. where you can develop innovative polymer and fiber and process it efficiently into commercially viable forms.
