The Panthers beat Atlanta on a rainy Thursday 25-15
Walker, Pineiro get redemptionIt's nice to finally say something good about the Panthers.
QB PJ Walker made a couple of questionable throws, but he did pretty well keeping control of the ball. He was 10 of 16 attempts for 108 yards and zero turnovers.D'Onta Foreman looked great- he had 130 rushing yards and a touchdown on 31 carries. He has really shone since McCaffrey left. Linebacker Frankie Luvu continues to shine, he had 12 tackles (2 for loss) and 2 sacks.Kicker Eddy Pineiro bounced back from last weeks fiasco, kicking field goals of 46, 49, 40, and 37 yards. He did miss one extra point. The Panthers plan to start Baker Mayfield on Sunday against the Ravens, after PJ Walker was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain that happened during the game with the Atlanta Falcons Thursday night. The Panthers are a 11.5 point underdog against Baltimore, according to DraftKings.
