Brooks Sandwich House is set to reopen in Charlotte on February 1st. You may recall that co-owner Scott Brooks was murdered  December 9th after he arrived  before dawn to open up.

Primal Brewery is going into  in the former Rivermen Brewery location in Belmont. They are planning an April opening. They also plan a new menu, and  hiring about 25 folks.

Charlotte and surrounding area's restaurant week, began  Friday the 17th, and runs through the 28th.  Local restaurants participating are Estia's Kouzina, Old Stone Steakhouse, The Bottle Tree, and Webb Custom Kitchen. They all have a pre fixe menu for $35 per person.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you already know that Luke Kuechly is retiring. After earning more that $63 million in his career, I doubt he will be using any used golf balls. He can definitely afford new ones...even though he is giving up about $22 million is salary and bonuses by retiring.

Celene Dion performs tonight at the Spectrum Center at 7:30. Tickets start at $84 here...(I have that same dress)
