Looks like Dallas has it going on. Evidently a new Starbucks is being built at 106 College View Drive, where the old Dairy Queen used to be. We hear they will be leaving Ingles once built.

They have a farm at 906 Dallas Stanley Highway, but this from their Facebook page Sunday: U-pick update! 4/27/2025 The u-pick at our Linebergers Berry Hill farm location, 2295 Hudson Poultry rd Iron Station NC 28080, is the best I have ever seen... The u-pick will be decent at Dallas but you will have to walk to pick big berries there tomorrow.

A new Penn Station has opened at 2950 Union Road in Gastonia. I hear they have killer fries with malt vinegar (like at the Cleveland County Fair).
NCWorks moves to Loray MillNCWorks is moving from 1391 Bessemer City Road in Gasonia to a new site in the former Loray Mill. “The move was prompted when the owner of the current property sold the property to a buyer who will move into the space," a Gaston County spokesperson said.The former mill opened in 2015 with 189 apartments and 750,000 square feet of retain space. Tribridge Residential is expected to start work this year on 140 adaptive reuse apartments.NCWorks is expected to be open in the new space by July.
Gaston County approves incentives for Project Nexus
Gaston County commissioners approved incentives for Project Nexus, which Gaston County is vying for.The project would create 701 jobs with an annual wage of above $52,000.The project is not a done deal, as several other communities are still in the running. The company is expected to make a decision in June, and be operational in the first quarter of 2027.

In Gaston County, it was textiles.The Cramerton Mills, including the Cramerton town property, was sold to Burlington Industries in 1946. This sale was a major event in the history of Cramerton, North CarolinaThe above home, built in 1939, was purchased by George And Elizabeth Cramer around 1949, and recently sold for $3.75 million. The property was owned by the Cramer family until 2015. Its historic landmark ordinance describes the home as "one of the largest and best preserved examples of the type of architect-designed housing chosen by Charlotte's elites before World War II,"

They showed $6.99 million 3 year revenue, with $5.71 million in expenses, with $8.91 million in 3 year assets. They currently have 161 employees.
