WSGE still has the blues...and beach, Americana, and more...Gaston College radio: WSGE, is a local treasure.. and also your 24 hour local music source. They are independent or "indie" radio, which means they are not driven by a top 40 playlist. Rather, they play what you want to hear, rock, blues, or beach...or almost anything else. The college station is managed by Regan Smith. Smith, an NC State graduate, has been with the station for five years, and became the manager in October of last year. She hope to regain some listeners that have "left the dial". The station encourages listeners to call in and request music; they also encourage local musicians to share their music.Check them out at 91.7 on your radio dial, or stream from their website, or ask your smart speaker to play "WSGE on Tune-In".
