Baseball is back at CaroMont Park and the FUSE Stadium! The City of Gastonia, The Atlantic  League,  and Zawyer Sports & Entertainemnt announced today the formation of a new Gastonia baseball team: The Gastonia Baseball Club

New owner Andy Kauffman and Zawyer Sports & Entertainment says they will pay former Honey Hunter employees any money owed, make any vendors owed money by the Honey Hinters whole, and any churches or civic groups that made reservations will be accommodated.

For now, the team will be called the Gastonia Baseball Club, and after the first season, and after fan input, a new name will be chosen.The baseball side of things will be virtually unchanged.Zawyer Sports & Entertainment owns 6 minor league hockey teams; the Gastonia Baseball team will be their 7th team. ZSE does have previous baseball experience.

Zawyer Sports & Entertainment owns and operates the Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, Savannah Ghost Pirates, ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights, Lake Tahoe Pro Hockey, Allen Americans, the Community First Igloo, and 32 Degrees Marketing. Also included in the Zawyer Sports family is the Atlanta Gladiators and Ghost Pirates Ice, whom ZSE manages.

Zawyer Sports & Entertainment was founded by Andy Kaufmann in 2018 and headquartered in Jacksonville, FL.
